WOOFHOOF has found a way to bring the ancient art of batik to dog owners with their unique Batik leash collection. This traditional method of decorating fabric with melted wax dates back at least 2000 years ago and originated in the Far East. By painting on cotton or silk with melted wax, intricate and beautiful designs can be created, from flowers to landscapes.
WOOFHOOF carefully selected batik fabrics and professionally photographed them. From there, a computerized screen was developed to transfer the design onto a satiny ribbon, creating an original Batik leash. The ribbon is then sewn onto super soft nylon with quality hardware and stitching, ensuring the leash is durable and long-lasting.
The Batik leash collection features a range of patterns including Rasta Orange, Green Swirl, Blue Dream, Purple Groove, and a traditional ribbon pattern with an earth and peace sign motif called Peaceful Brown. The dog leashes come in two snap sizes, small and large, and are 6 feet long by 1 inch wide and 1/8 inch thick.
